System Mechanic is a great all-in-one tool to repair, clean, and speed up your computer. It features tool such as a startup optimizer, live booster, PC cleanup, privacy cleaner, netbooster, and much more! This program is a one stop shop for all your computer needs!
This program is a very well designed software to help you get the most of your computer. We have reviewed a lot of computer cleaners/ utilities, but having lots of programs to do different tasks may get frustrating for many computer users. System Mechanic brings all these programs into one, and allows you to access and use the features with it's easy to understand interface and well implemented tools to get your computer to the best condition it can be.
The first thing I noticed when I started System Mechanic up was it's organization and layout. It was very well thought out and made it very easy for me to navigate through the menus and options to find exactly what I needed. The second thing I noticed was the poor rating on my PC. Looks like I need some repairs done with System Mechanic. In just a few clicks I can automatically fix errors and problems on my computer.
On clicking "View Problems" you get a table like structure that organized all the problems with your PC that needs to be fixed. Each problem has a short explanation on what's wrong and what fixing/ removing the problem will do for your computer. I liked the detail and descriptions the software has in it. It made it very clear what the program was doing and it didn't make me second guess myself on what the software was really doing to my PC.
Repairing the problems on the list is as easy as checking the boxed or clicking "Repair All" to fix all the problems on your computer. It took about 15 minutes for me to repair/fix all the problems on my PC. After the repairs, you get a nice little window that will show you what problems it fixed and prompt you to restart your computer. My experience with the program thus far is very good. I love the interface, the simplicity, and the detail the developers put into the program.
Another great feature in System Mechanic is its automation feature. It allows users to set specific tools to automatically perform tasks while the user is away. This is a great feature for those that want to fix their computer during the night or while they are out of the house. Having full control of when you can set automatic scans and fixes is a wonderful and handy feature to be bundled in with a computer optimizer.
Not only can System Mechanic optimize your computer when you are away, but it can also optimize your computer when you are using it. Having "Real-time Optimization" enabled allows the program to automatically increase the performance of your computer. It uses it's OptiCore, RAMJet, and AcceleWrite features to increase responsiveness, maximize memory, and increase read and write speeds. Being able to schedule times to optimize your computer and also having a real-time optimization engine has already brought this program to the top of the list in computer optimizers.
Within the toolbox of System Mechanic, is the rest of the tools and utilities the program has to offer. With the additional 5 more tools, you can be sure your computer will be in the best condition. Clean junk files, repair errors and security flaws, and accelerate your PC with the defragment of your HDDs. System Mechanic has it all. These tools also have time estimates to give you the best guess at how long it will take while also including the description of what each process will do for your computer.
Logging and system reports are also availible with System Mechanic. Know what programs have crashed and have record of computer freezing or unresponsive programs. A chart has your computer's reliability according to the number of crashes and unresponsive occasions.
All in All
System Mechanic is a fantastic all-in-one utility that will help clean, repair, and accelerate your home computer. It has a great interface and the program is very easy to use. Detailed description tell you a summary of what each function does and allows you to have peace of mind while System Mechanic does its work. Usually simplicity doesn't come with high functionality, but System Mechanic surpasses it. I rate System Mechanic a PCb Favorite award!
